New Year’s 2026

The New Year’s Eve Celebration at Lincoln Square in Downtown Gettysburg is returning by popular demand on December 31, 2025.

Good Samaritan Lodge No. 336, Free & Accepted Masons, is once again sponsoring this exciting event. The festivities start in the late afternoon with a vendor and craft show, followed by a community New Year’s Eve party.

Featured local artists will fill our two stages and throughout the area. A jumbo screen will show a live broadcast of the festivities in Times Square, New York City.

The night will end with a special tradition: the raising of Abraham Lincoln’s Hat at the stroke of midnight.

Several local food truck vendors will serve delicious options throughout the day and into the night.

Good Samaritan Lodge No. 336 will also offer free hot chocolate and water at 9 Lincoln Square.
